XV GLC Emilio Rojas Casey Veggies
XV, "Blame Yourself" feat. GLC, Emilio Rojas and Casey Veggies
You can only blame yourself if you missed this track from #MusicMonday. Luckily, for you, we go through every single track to grab the standouts for you. This gem from XV is Hipster-Hop gold. The sample is done perfectly. The verses are done perfectly. It's all win here. The 4 MCs represent different parts of the country but they each have similar stories to tell about women who broke their hearts and got a permanent cold shoulder in return. It's just good. Really good.

Fink, "Perfect Darkness"
We strongly suggest you pull out a pair of quality stereo headphones for this one. This is a sonic experience that must be heard in stereo. Set your volume to a loud but comfortable level and press play. UK producer Lapalux freaked the bejeezus out of this Fink track and turned it into the one of the most beautiful destructions we've ever witnessed. It's slammed, tweaked, filtered, flipped, chopped, screwed, pitch shifted, auto-tuned and otherwise remixed beyond belief. It has more layers than the finest biscuit we've ever had the pleasure of digesting and this Lapalux delicacy tastes just as good going down, if not better. Eat up.

Young Chris, "Still Creepin"
Chris has come a long way since the Young Gunz and 4 sizes too big jerseys. Now signed to Universal Motown/Division1, Young Chris is making a push to regain the major exposure of his Roc-A-Fella days. Minus Neef. With a few solid internet releases behind him and the guidance of producer Rico Love, Young Chris is seemingly one break away from being a household name. "Still Creepin" is a shining example of how far flow can carry a rapper. Young Chris puts all the right spin on this 80's feel track and it works extremely well.

No fourth recommendation
I almost put a fourth in there but it's not really all that standout. It was just good. Background music at a social.
